IT Support Technician Apprentice

Duties: 

Provide excellent first line IT support to the user community Work with the Senior ICT Technician and Network Manager to resolve ICT helpdesk issues in a timely and efficient manner Carry out a programme of repairs and maintenance in order to ensure the working order of ICT related resources Assist school staff in configuring workstations and systems to ensure effectiveness Adding and updating inventory records of all ICT equipment Assisting with the implementation of ICT projects and training users in the use of new equipment Work safely and make Health and Safety observations on behalf of and make reports to the Network Manager Assist with the maintenance and transport of Chromebooks and their trollies between lessons and classrooms

Training Outcome:

90% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. 

Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

St Bernadette Catholic Secondary School is a coeducational Catholic, voluntary aided secondary school in Whitchurch, a suburb in the south of Bristol, England. It is located next to St Bernadette Catholic Primary School and the local parish church.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (but Friday is 8:30am - 4:00pm)
