Getting to know the types of materials and equipment we use Labouring for the gang Inductions on the various sites we work on Manual handling training Having a go at more complex tasks (installing a kerb, raking some surfacing) Abrasive wheels training Taking a more active role in the gang Starting to know what your tasks will be without needing instruction Using small plant more such as circular saws, plate compactors, drills, breakers etc. Continuing to labour for the gang Getting to know the various names and types of material we work with and what they are used for CAT training Plant training H&S training

Training:
Groundworker Level 2 Apprenticeship standard Mentor support Block release held at Telford College Assessor support via site visits

Training Outcome:
This Apprenticeship will provide a great grounding for progression into various opportunities within the Company, including Quantity Surveying, Site Management, Project Management and much more For the right candidates, the Company will commit to supporting future learning to enable your progression
