Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship
As an apprentice dental nurse, learning about the extensive variety of instruments used within the practice is paramount and what different treatments they may be used for.
Duties:
How to zone these correctly in your surgery to prevent cross-contamination You will become familiar with different materials that are used throughout the practice and what is needed for all treatments Learn how to mix these materials Assist dentists in performing their general duties Ad hoc duties to help support the office functionTraining:
Upon completion of your Apprenticeship, you'll receive a Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship qualification approved by the General Dental Council Training will take place at the dental surgery in Gnosall, you will not be required to attend college, however you will be allocated a minimum of 6 hours per week to complete academic tasks
Training Outcome:
A full-time position with the employer is available upon completion of the apprenticeship Alternatively, on completion of this Level 3 Dental Nursing Advanced Apprenticeship the apprentice can register with the General Dental Council as a qualified Dental Nurse and complete a range of level 4 qualifications such as Oral Health or Radiography
