Teaching Assistant Apprentice
Your typical working day will involve;
Supporting students with individual needs in their mainstream lessons Working with a small group of assigned key students, checking in with them during morning registration Conduct "walk and talks" to better understand key student's emotional needs Implement the appropriate reasonable adjustment to ensure them to access their learning As part of the role you will follow school procedures such as; recording interactions, escalating issues, reporting safeguarding concerns etc
Training:
As part of your apprenticeship, you will have dedicated off-the-job time to focus on your studies and receive tailored mentoring from experienced practitioners within the school, helping you to develop as a professional.
Training Outcome:
There maybe potential for a permanent position dependant on business needs.

John Taylor Free School is part of the John Taylor Multi Academy Trust and we have a purpose built sight, which is now a fully established mainstream secondary school.
Working Hours :
You will be contracted for 32.5 hours per week for 39.2 working weeks, which is term time only. Start time is 8.45am, finish time is 3.40pm. This is a fixed-term contract until you have completed your apprenticeship.
