Junior Designer - Artwork / Product design
Primary Purpose This role exists to support the delivery of high-quality design assets for new product development and rebranding projects across our extensive product range in the children's consumer goods sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality design assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) that meet project specifications and brand guidelinesDemonstrate adaptability and quick learning in a fast-paced environment to support ongoing design projects and meet deadlinesParticipate in ideation and brainstorming sessions to generate fresh concepts and contribute to creative directionRetouch and visualise designs to ensure polished, visually appealing outputs across various formatsSet up packaging artwork with precise technical specifications for print productionApply fundamental understanding of repro and print processes to ensure production-ready designs that align with printing standardsMaintain effective team communication and organisation to ensure smooth project workflow and timely deliveryFollow design briefs to produce creative outputs that align with client expectations and project goalsCollaborate with senior designers and team members to refine designs and ensure alignment with overall project objectivesSkills and Experience Essential RequirementsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free content that aligns with brand guidelinesAbility to work and produce material independently and as part of a teamCapability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesPassion for excellence and continuous improvementDesirable QualitiesExperience in children's product design and developmentUnderstanding of sustainable packaging practices and ability to support sustainability initiatives within marketing strategiesInterest in children's product trends: Enthusiasm for keeping up with latest industry developments and their influence on design, from innovative materials to new engagement methodsAbility to incorporate fun, imagination, and creativity into design work that appeals to children while maintaining professionalism and brand integrity
