Commmercial Property Assistant

My client is a well respected and successful law firm based in Chester who offer a range of legal services both for individuals and businesses. Due to the growth of their Commercial Property team, they have a fantastic opportunity for a full time legal assistant to join their friendly team.  This role will provide a high level of support to their Solicitors and other team members in the provision of an efficient, personal and professional service at all times, ensuring that business objectives are achieved. They are looking to recruit a candidate with experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in Conveyancing or Commercial Property.  The right candidate will be able to deliver their responsibilities to a high standard and operate in a fast-paced team with the aim of becoming an integral and invaluable part of that team. Maybe you are a candidate who currently specialises in residential who fancies pursuing commercial property?  Responsibilities: - Client contact – making and receiving calls, dealing efficiently with enquiries, communicating politely, effectively and in line with our client care policy. - Correspondence – preparing and managing all forms of correspondence, including letters and emails, along with inbound and outbound post, photocopying and other administrative duties as required. - Assisting with transactions – corresponding with third parties, completing delegated tasks, ordering property searches, downloading documents from the Land Registry, preparing completion statements and invoices; and - Maintain high professional standards, confidence, confidentiality and integrity. Skills: - Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - An ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, including Microsoft Teams. - Communicate effectively and courteously and convey information accurately. - Work calmly and accurately under pressure. - An ability to prioritise tasks. - Willingness and ability to learn new technology. - Self-managed, organised and a high level of initiative. - Integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately; and - A ‘Can Do’ and dynamic attitude. Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience upto £26k.
