Integra Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our clients school in the L26 area as of January to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for the English language while fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. This role requires a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying ages and abilities. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.Skills
Strong knowledge of English language literature, grammar, and composition (KS3 and KS4) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources for teaching purposes. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
