Nursery Deputy Manager

An Exciting Opportunity Has Arisen for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established childcare provider renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional early years education and care. As a Nursery Deputy Manager, you will be supporting the daily leadership of a thriving nursery, ensuring a safe, inspiring, and nurturing learning environment for young children. This role is full-time term time only offering a salary range of £26,000 - £29,000 (FTE £35,000 - £38,000) and benefits. You Will Be Responsible For: ? Supporting the Nursery Manager with the smooth, efficient running of the setting. ? Leading and motivating staff to maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere. ? Upholding safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements at all times. ? Acting as a key person for a group of children, ensuring individual needs are met through thoughtful planning. ? Overseeing record keeping, including attendance, incidents, and risk assessments. ? Contributing to the development and implementation of curriculum activities in line with early years frameworks. ? Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Nursery Manager. What We Are Looking For: ? Previously worked as a Nursery Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, Nursery Practitioner, Assistant Nursery Manager, Room leader or in a similar role. ? At least 2 years of experience working in nursery and with children aged 2 - 5 years. ? A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above ? A solid understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding principles, and health & safety standards. ? Paediatric First aid qualification (training provided) ?
