As a Home Carer, you'll be part of a compassionate and supportive team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those in need. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

Your role will include:

Personalised Care: Learn to implement tailored care plans that respect individual needs and preferences. Communication Skills: Enhance your ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families, fostering trust and understanding. Health Monitoring: Gain skills in monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Problem-Solving: Develop critical thinking by addressing various challenges that arise in home care settings. Emotional Support: Provide a listening ear and companionship, helping clients feel valued and dignified.

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker - Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
Hearts at Home Care are a family run, business working with local families around Ringwood, Fordingbridge, Downton, Verwood, Wimborne, Bransgore, Christchurch and surrounding areas, that are always branching out further.

Working Hours :
08:00 - 14:00 or 16:00 - 22:00 (5 out of 7 Days P/Week).
