Electrical Fitter Apprenticeship

Due to the continued expansion of the company, Tofco CPP are looking to recruit an Electrical Apprentices to undertake electrical control panel manufacture.

Tofco design and manufacture electrical distribution panels and associated devices for the street lighting industry, we have also expanded into the Electric Vehicle Charging market and would like to employee two apprentices to have a long-term successful career at our manufacturing facility.

All equipment is manufactured onsite in our facility located in Ponteland, Northumberland.

Responsibilities:

Fit electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings Fit, wire, build and assemble power distribution units Using hand tools and power tools Elements of panel testing will be introduced

Training:
Engineering Fitter Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)  End point Assessment Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed

Training Outcome:
Full time position upon completion of apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday , 8.30am to 5.00pm (25 mins lunch break). Friday, 8.30am to 1.30pm (no lunch break).
