Apprentice Dental Nurse

Your role as an apprentice dental nurse will be to support the dentist in all aspects of patient care

Preparing appropriate instruments, mixing materials and ensuring patient comfort.

Assist with reception work.

Greeting patients.

Making appointments and taking payments.

Training:
Remote delivery of apprenticeship within the workplace. Weekly day release into college when required. Maths & English functional skills delivered within the college setting (if required).

Training Outcome:
To become a fully qualified registered dental nurse.

Employer Description:
A small independent dental practice providing NHS & private dental care to the local population

Working Hours :
Monday 8.45am-5.30pm Tuesday 8.45am-5.30pm Wednesday 8.45-5.30pm Thursday 8.45am-5.30pm Friday 8.45am -5.00pm 38.75 hours a week. 1 hour lunch break each day.
