Gardening Operative Apprentice
Working as part of our small team, you will be trained in carrying out tasks including:
Assessing the days schedule and discussing the day’s work ahead Reviewing the health and safety of the work area and required PPE Determining the tools and equipment required for the tasks Use of relevant tools, equipment and machinery including grass mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, rake, hand tools Planting and associated activities i.e. fertilizer, weed killer, insecticide etc. Clearing away of debris and cuttings, grass Collection and check of tools and equipment prior to leaving site Ensuring very good customer service when interacting with clientsTraining:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training Outcome:
Full time employment up on successful completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Minimum - 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30 am - 4.00pm, with 30 min lunch.
