Motorcycle Technician Apprentice

No two days are the same in our workshop; with exposure to all makes and models, the technical knowledge you can gain with us is a rare opportunity within the industry.

You will be working on the latest motorcycles available on the market, something that a single main dealership cannot offer. Our technicians cover all levels of mechanics, including:

Diagnosing standard and complex faults Motorcycle servicing Routine maintenance checks Fitting aftermarket accessories

Training:

Candidates will work towards achieving the Motorcycle Technician (Repair and Maintenance) Apprenticeship Standard at level 3. They will also be required to study towards achieving level 2 maths and English functional skills if they do not already hold equivalent qualifications.

The programme lasts for 24 months, with ongoing support from the Academy team:              

Constant on-the-job support and training with their allocated buddies and two members of full-time on-site trainers Regular 1-2-1s to ensure they are "on-track" with their college work and progressing with their practical skills in line with company expectations Financial rewards for passing each college's practical Gateway exams. Access to MHFA throughout the business to ensure learners get the correct help with coping mechanisms for their learning journey

The post-holder must be working towards gaining their driving licence by the end of the apprenticeship due to the requirements of the role. The apprentice will be expected to purchase basic tools throughout the apprenticeship duration to build up their own kit.



Training Outcome:

There is high potential for a permanent role with the organisation upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, with room for progression. Your salary shall be reviewed throughout your apprenticeship.

Going through a total 120 thorough checks.

Working Hours :
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm, with a 45 min lunch.
