Apprentice Grounds, Property & Maintenance Assistant

As part of a small team, you play a key role in assisting to maintain the grounds and gardens ensuring they are always immaculate and looking their best

General grounds work including grass and hedge cutting, weeding, strimming and planting Supporting the team with basic maintenance work and property checks Ability to work effectively within specified time and weather constraints An understanding of health and safety in the workplace and risk assessments Wedding and event preparation and post-wedding/event clear down

Training:
Horticulture/Landscape Operative Standard English and Maths (if required) Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Safe use of Pesticides Level 2 Safe Application of Pesticide Using Hand Held Equipment Level 2

 



Training Outcome:

A permanent role within the grounds and maintenance team.

A diversified rural farming business with a focus on hospitality, including weddings, events, catering, high end accommodation, farming and environmental management.

Working Hours :
40 hours over seven days a week. Due to the nature of the business and role working days/hours need to be geared around the weather and events taking place.
