Apprentice Welder Fabricator

MIG, TIG and stick welding on a variety of projects Fabricating shearing trailers, custom handling systems and other agri-equipment Working in the workshop and occasionally on-site Reading and working from technical drawings Assisting with CNC-cut components and fabricated assemblies Following Health & Safety procedures Working independently and as part of a small, experienced team Experience of welding would be advantageous High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Background or interest in agriculture is helpful but not essential

Training:
Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice - 4 days with employer and day release at College Location: Upsall Road, South Kilvington

Training Outcome:
There may be an opportunity to secure a long term position after successful completion of the apprenticeship

JNE Engineering Ltd is a respected UK manufacturer specialising in sheep shearing equipment, mobile shearing trailers, and custom stock handling systems. We design and build bespoke agricultural equipment using CAD design, CNC cutting and expert fabrication techniques. We are now looking for a skilled welder fabricator to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality, durable equipment for the agricultural sector.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm with day release to college
