Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Supporting students to accomplish their daily goals in a variety of subjects
Work with teachers to understand and support assessment
Develop effective and informed practice
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Develop strategies for support
Training:
You will be offered off the job training, which is a blended model of learning of doing coursework, training and shadowing
You will be entitled to around six hours per week to do this
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
You can then move onto a higher-level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) and a postgraduate teaching qualification
Training Outcome:
It is up to you what you do when you have finished your apprenticeship
There may be an opportunity to stay on at the same company and progress to the next level of qualification, High Level Teaching Assistant
Alternatively, you may want to look for a new job or other professional development opportunity

We are an inclusive and friendly school which has a diverse catchment at the heart of our community. We are an Academy School, part of the Central Learning Partnership Trust (CLPT) and work collaboratively with two other schools in our community. We strive to ensure our children receive an education which inspires and promotes positive learning and ensure that rigorous CPD supports all staff in becoming the best they can be.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between 8.00am to 3.00pm
