Support the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
Assist in creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
Work as part of a team under the guidance of qualified practitioners
Build positive relationships with children, parents, professionals and colleagues
Take increasing responsibility as their skills and knowledge grow
Ensure children’s safety, health and welfare at all times
Support children’s play, learning and development through activities and observations
Observe and record children's progress, contributing to reports and planning
Support equal opportunities and respect diversity
Attend training, reflect on practice and complete coursework to achieve the qualification
Follow safeguarding policies, raising concerns about children’s welfare appropriately
Assist colleagues with daily routines (mealtimes, toileting, setting up activities)
Share information effectively with parents and the wider team
