Finance Apprentice at Aston Group

Key responsibilities:

Assist with processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims Support in reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts. Help with preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company procedures Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries Support with year-end audits and compliance documentation Contribute to process improvements within the finance function Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Team

What we’re looking for:

A genuine interest in finance and accounting Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*-C / 9-4), including maths and English (or equivalent) Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills Good organisational and time-management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Eager to learn and develop professionally Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
