Engineering Precision Mechatronics Apprentice

You won’t just be building machines—you’ll be learning from engineers whose work has literally reached space. Our team includes contributors to the James Webb Space Telescope, where they helped manufacture its ultra-reflective mirrors. Now, they’re ready to pass that expertise on to you. As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the design and build of ultraprecision machine tools. You’ll receive world-class training and be immersed in cutting-edge engineering from day one. What You’ll Be Doing: Building foundational knowledge in precision engineering Getting hands-on with mechanical builds and system commissioning Learning to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Developing an appreciation for CAD software, drawings, and 3D modelling Exploring the principles of metrology and performing precision measurements Being introduced to machine control systems and how they drive performance This is more than a role—it’s a launchpad for your future
