Horticulture Apprentice

Tasks will vary depending on where the apprentice is based during the particular time of the year, this can include:

Weeding and planting Fruit maintenance Working with the Garden Shop customers Mowing and hedge trimming Working within the Plant Centre

Training:
Training delivered at Berkshire College of Agriculture, fortnightly Rest of the time spent at place of employment

 

Training Outcome:
Possibility for full time employment after completion of apprenticeship

Employer Description:
Waterperry Gardens is a mixed horticultural estate, occupying 20 acres of land. The site is open to the general public, prioritising retail horticulture, ornamental horticulture and top fruit work. Working seasonably, offering diverse experiences in multiple areas.

Working Hours :
Monday- Friday 8am- 4.45pm Alternate weekends 9am- 5:30pm
