Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

First Footsteps Nurseries is a small group of three nurseries based in Liverpool and Leyland. They have many years' experience in providing high quality childcare in a safe, stimulating and happy environment for children ages between three months and five years.

Come and join the experienced team as a level 2 apprentice and you will learn to:

To plan daily activities for children To help prepare meals for children To adhere to safeguarding policy and procedures To undertake Early Years qualification To communicate with parents and carers

Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification Functional skills in maths and English if required

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Training Outcome:

To progress to a higher Early Years qualification, gain full-time employment.

Employer Description:
First Footseps Anfield operates from four large bright room's, Baby unit, Toddler Room and Pre-school. The Nursery is based in the Anfield area of Liverpool and offers places for children 0-5 years.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, working hours TBC
