Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice
During the first year, you will study at our technical college, with theory lessons and practical time on our emulation zone aircraft and workshops.
From your second year, you will join our base maintenance department in the hangars and be mentored by an experienced member of our team, completing a variety of work on the aircraft.
At all times, you will be conscientious and ensure a clean and tidy working environment for the safety of yourself and others. You will demonstrate honesty and integrity.
Training:
During the first year, you will study at our technical college, with theory lessons and practical time on our emulation zone aircraft and workshops. This will give you a good grounding to succeed from your second year, when you join the hangars.
From your second year, you will join the based maintenance team and with the support and instruction of an experienced member of our team, will complete a variety of tasks on the aircraft, gaining hands-on experience working on aircraft for our customers.
Training Outcome:
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will be a qualified aircraft mechanic. There are established routes for progression following this.
