People and Culture Apprentice

The apprentice will report to the Cornwall FA Designated Safeguarding Officer. 

What you will do at work as an apprentice: 

Manage incoming communications (emails, calls, letters) and direct them appropriately Maintain and update databases for clubs, referees, and volunteers Assist with meeting preparation: agendas, minutes, room bookings, refreshments Support the processing of invoices, expenses, and purchase orders Help with filing, scanning, and archiving documents in line with GDPR Assist with cup fixture scheduling, venue bookings, and match confirmations Maintain accurate records of results, scorers, and disciplinary actions Support the preparation and distribution of matchday documentation Respond to club queries regarding rules, regulations, eligibility, and deadlines Assist with league administration including fixture scheduling, results recording, and disciplinary processes Support governance documentation and compliance tracking Liaise with clubs and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication Contribute to the development of league policies and procedures 

Training:
Business Administrator Level 3 Bi-weekly attendance at the Truro campus 

Training Outcome:

On completion of a successful apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time position.

Working Hours :
Working Days: Monday - Friday with some weekend and evening work Working Times: Flexible working in line with company policy (TBC)
