Employment Solicitor

Job role:

Advise and assist clients with employment matters, including tribunal cases, corporate support work, and general HR queries. Draft contracts, policies, tribunal applications, and skeleton arguments. Conduct advocacy in employment tribunals, including Case Management and Preliminary Hearings. Provide corporate support on TUPE, indemnities, warranties, and due diligence. Contribute to marketing efforts, deliver seminars, and write for Employment Bulletins.

Job requirement:

Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, familiarity with case management systems, and the ability to conduct online and library research. Legal Expertise: A solid background in contentious and non-contentious employment law, with up-to-date knowledge of legal developments. Client Focus: The ability to provide practical, commercial advice and build strong professional relationships. Commercial Awareness: A proactive approach to assimilating facts quickly and working to tight deadlines. Marketing Mindset: A willingness to participate in marketing activities, events, and other initiatives to enhance the firm's presence.
