Role: School-based Youth Justice Prevention Officer

Pay Rate: £21.31 per hour
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a newly expanded Prevention Team. This role involves working closely with young people, parents, and carers in school settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team, aiming to improve engagement with education, attendance, and overall outcomes for young people.

Role Responsibilities:

Collaborate with schools, safeguarding teams, healthcare providers, CAMHS, and the Police to develop and deliver tailored support plans for young people. Use creative, strengths-based approaches to support young people in improving attendance and engagement within their education placements. Work directly within schools while also providing support to young people and families in the community. Support young people on their educational journey, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed.

Requirements:

A proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for young people. Experience working with young people who have additional support needs within an educational or community setting. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle to enable travel citywide.
