Childcare Apprentice

●       To assist practitioners in the execution of the nursery’s daily routines and activities

●       To interact with, and support children as they play and learn during planned activities and independent play

●       Provide support to room leaders and other team members to ensure the safe care of children whilst in the nursery.

●       To attend trips, visits, and outings to a variety of locations weekly.

●       To provide support in daily personal care routines (with Advanced DBS)

●       To assist children with eating during daily meal times (x4), and ensure the environment is kept clean, sanitary, and tidy after meals.

●       To develop knowledge and experience in the use and update of our data management system, Babysdays.

●       To actively ensure the safe supervision of children in the indoor and outdoor provision at all times.

●       To develop the skills to become a valued and competent team member.

 

Training:

The successful apprentice will spend 90% of their time at the employer's location, as stated above.  However, as the employer regularly visits other external centres, sites, and locations temporarily, the apprentice will also attend those locations when needed.

Training Outcome:

To become a qualified L3 Early Years Childcare Practitioner.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
