Business Administration Apprenticeship with Park Surgery
Undertake general reception duties, making and taking telephone calls, taking messages, face-to-face enquiries, liaising with staff, outside agencies, and visitors/patients
Collect payments for non-NHS services
Greet and direct patients and visitors
Booking appointments
Dealing with home visit requests
Working on front reception
Photocopying
Emailing
Inputting and extracting information from the practice system
Liaising with other NHS services/pharmacies
General housekeeping, i.e. keeping the reception and waiting areas tidy
Any other reasonable duties as necessary
Training:
Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard
Training will be delivered face-to-face, with workshops and 1-2-1 support given
Training Outcome:
It will be varied and interesting, and sometimes challenging
The ideal candidate will be someone with a ‘can do’ approach who is able to benefit from the training and support we can provide to develop
The possibility to join our team full-time with a chance to progress onto more senior roles in time

Park surgery is a busy local GP practice operating over 3 sites in Middlesbrough with over 12,500 patients. We offer first class patient-centred primary care to Middlesbrough residents.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, between 8am - 6pm.
