Early Years Educator Apprentice

Help and support children with their development. Play and engage with the children. Ensure the policies are followed. Encourage learning and development, through play and teaching. Create a secure environment, using imagination to help children to learn. Be responsible for setting up and clearing away of activities Carry out regular care and routine support; including feeding, supporting sleep, changing nappies. Keep the provision clean, tidy and organised. Support children’s play and relationships. Effectively manage children’s behaviour. Implement the principles of EYFS (early years foundation stage). Monitor, track and record children’s development. Support children with toileting. Ensure that children are properly supervised. Support children’s independence and development.

Training:
Apprentice will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator standard qualification, including Paediatric First Aid. You will be supported via an agreed training plan. Training will be discussed at enrolment and will include input from the employer, training provider and apprentice. The apprentice will receive monthly workplace or virtual visits with a dedicated assessor.

Training Outcome:
The possibility of a full-time permanent post upon successful completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.

My Early Years Provision is called Mini Montesaurs, it is a childcare provision which incorporates the homely feel of a childminding setting whilst having the benefits that a nursery offers with more children and staff and all year round year care. As a qualified Early Years Teacher, I use my in-depth knowledge and skills to provide children with the best start into their early years. I follow a Montessori approach alongside a lot of outdoor learning. My provision is purpose built and will allow free flow indoors and outdoors all year round. I believe Early Years is where the love of learning is fostered, imaginations are developed and the foundations of learning are laid. In a supportive yet challenging environment children are able to explore and discover the world around them and prepare themselves for learning throughout their education and in life.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday. Working hours between 7.45am and 5.00pm.
