Advanced early year apprentice
To contribute to a programme of activities that meets the individual needs and interests of children in your area
To ensure that the nursery meets the requirements of Ofsted at all times
Engage in good team working
Liaise with and support parents and other family members
To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
To Help plan activities which are developmentally appropriate for individual children
Read understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role as deemed appropriate by the Manager
To help ensure records are properly maintained e.g. daily register, accident and incident records and risk assessments
To assist staff in delivering an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation that enables children to make individual
Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
Training will be delivered by Rochdale training
Training Outcome:
This could lead to a full-time position
Employer Description:
First Steps Nursery caters for children aged 0-5 years 52 weeks of the year. We offer child care in three rooms, our sunshine room is for children aged 0-2, our rainbow room is for children aged 2-3 and our bright stars preschool room is for children aged 3-4 years.
Working Hours :
5 days a week, across Monday – Friday, 7.30am - 6.00pm hours per week minimum to be discussed at interview
