Childcare Apprenticeship - Reading
A small independent day nursery in the beautiful village of Sonning Common. Taking babies from 3 months to children of 4 years are looking for an apprentice to join their small team.
You will support the day-to-day running of the Nursery, holding responsibility for the allocated room and its children. You will assist the Nursery Team in delivering the highest quality care and education for all children to achieve and maintain an Outstanding Ofsted judgement. The role will include;
Child Development: Understand the needs, interests, and stages of development of young children to inform learning opportunities. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and effectively facilitate children's social development. Problem-Solving: Develop innovative and evolving approaches to learning and play. Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and reflection to develop professionally and personally.Training:
It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a personal tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your studies.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18-month apprenticeship, you will have gained an Early Years Educator Level 3.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
