Marketing Data Analyst

As a Marketing Data Analyst you are involved in the data of the bank’s product and campaigns to provide strategic insights for their growth initiatives.
Working with both the Head of Data & Analytics and Growth Director, this role is responsible for development, execution and optimisation of data and insights capability with the growth team.
Help develop a data-driven culture within the growth team.
Build customer segments for use in growth campaigns and assist the team in modelling and validating customer behaviours (e.g.
propensity, churn, LTV, etc).
Plan, build and implement reporting dashboards that allow us to measure the effectiveness of growth and marketing initiatives.
You’ll aspire to the ideal of build once, scale everywhere in that everything you build will become a reusable, self-service tool for the growth team.
Support and analyse AB testing and experiment across campaigns, landing pages and other growth initiatives
Work collaboratively with our Data Engineers to design, develop and implement new data pipelines within our martech stack, creating reusable assets which meet business demand and align to our architectural principals.
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our products and advertising campaigns.
Assist with production updates across Martech stack, including testing, debugging and Implementation
Leverage the Growth Team’s agile framework (e.g.
sprint planning, agile delivery) to manage data and insight activities within agreed timeframes and to budget.
Participate in key data team ceremonies to ensure there is an aligned approach to the prioritisation of shared initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Have experience using relational databases and analytic tools such as SQL, R or Python to extract meaning from complex data sources.
An understanding of media attribution, marketing mix modelling and incrementality of marketing campaigns is required
Experience building datasets to support self-service visualisation tools (Power BI).
Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy robust analytical assets (automated or repeated processes, general purpose view/table structures supporting analytics/insights).

Previous work experience with the Databricks platform and Tealium CDP (highly desirable).
Practical knowledge of data preparation, transformation and modelling techniques.
