Role overview -

We are hiring rehabilitation assistant to work with our clients, who are living with acquired brain injuries. Our rehabilitation assistants will play a key role in supporting our clients to maximise each day, through accessing the community and activities of their choice, as well as supporting with their journey on the rehabilitation pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

Accompany clients on days out, accessing the community. Supporting the clients during physical exercise, which could include going for a run, long walks or attending the gym. Work with the wider support team, sharing feedback and documenting observations linked to each client’s progress during daily activities. Work with each client and the wider support team to achieve goals and objectives linked to each client’s rehabilitation pathway.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience gained through supporting people living with a brain injury. Previous experience of supporting rehabilitation programmes Energetic, positive, and enthusiastic individuals Ability to complete physical tasks, including general exercises such as running, walking and working out at the gym. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work to a plan
