Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support Mental Health services throughout the Berkshire area.

The successful candidate will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and provide support to Paediatrics/Adults across Acute, Crisis and Community settings with a range of Mental Health conditions. The contract duration is for 6 months with the likelihood of extension. This is a full-time placement although part-time hours will be considered.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Contract: 5 Days | 37.5 Hours (less will be considered)

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Pay: £25.00 p/h LTD + £250 Sign-Up Bonus (paid via Service Care Solutions)

Job Purpose – Band 6 Occupational Therapist

The post holder would be responsible for attending the MDT meetings to screen appropriate service users for Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention, complete necessary function needs assessment for these service users and make necessary onward referrals and treatment plans for ongoing Occupational Therapy needs.
