Leadership and development of the Manufacturing activities.
Responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set.
Accountable for ensuring all manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with regulatory guidance and are carried out according to the principles of GMP.
Grow the efficiency of existing organisational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organisation’s internal capacity.The Candidate
Significant technical experience and supervisory management in a production organisation.Experience working in a pharmaceutical, FMCG or other regulated production operation.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulatory requirements with knowledge of FDA guidance, ICH guidelines, EUGMP and GAMP.Good technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques and procedures.Lean manufacturing and/or Lean Six-Sigma training and experience is highly desirable.A science or engineering degree qualification is desirable.
The role has direct responsibility for maximizing commercial customer satisfaction, OTIF, by delivering the agreed production plan on time in full, in compliance with the relevant quality and EHS standards while maximizing financial performance.Deliver the production plan in line with appropriate Environmental Health and Safety requirements, in line with the required quality standards, through driving line performance to achieve agreed targets.
Monitor and report team performance to targets.
Drive corrective and preventative actions where shortfall occurs.Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.Coordinate the timely closure of batch documentation (including all electronic transactions) utilising the resources within the lead operator population.
Ensure GMP equipment and facilities are qualified, calibrated and maintained in compliance to approved procedures.Development of members of the Manufacturing Team to ensure appropriate levels of training, competence, and capability.Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.Identify and implement continuous improvement programmes.
