Commercial Manager

A Commercial Manager is required in Dublin to lead commercial management on large-scale social housing PPP projects, overseeing budgets and implementing strategies to ensure financial efficiency.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €90,000 - €110,000 per annum

Duties

Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, managing all commercial aspects of social housing PPP projects Develop budgets, cost forecasts, and reports for projects in collaboration with main contractors Implement cost-saving measures, conduct risk assessments, and oversee contractual management Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery

Qualifications Required

Relevant industry experience; 10-12 years Main Contractor/Management Contractor CSA role in a comparable position. Demonstrated experience in large scale projects ? €50m taking them from inception to completion. Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or relevant business degree Must be Chartered (RICS or SCSI) and experience working as Senior QSr Role in Public Works Contracts and/or PPP schemes including Design and Build projects. Experience in leading a cross functional multi-disciplinary team of professionals Ability to spot opportunities to generate growth Ability to bring project from inception to close Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills Commercial acumen and financial awareness Effective and comfortable working in a team environment Proven ability to form, lead and motivate commercial teams Organized with attention to detail Self-motivation & dynamism. Good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills Strong digitization, BIM and Data analytics skills.
