Apprentice Floorlayer

Preparing surfaces for installation by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing as necessary Assisting in the cutting, fitting, and laying of flooring materials according to specifications Learning to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently Providing support to the team members as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

Training:

During your Standard Level 2 Floorlayer - Textile & Resilient apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be required to attend FITA on block release basis, which is for a week at a time every 10 weeks in Loughborough, accomodation is paid for by the employer, the rest of the time you will be within the workplace. You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. You will use a wide range of techniques whilst you complete a practical project. WEBS Training aim to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.

Training will be provided in all areas of Floorlaying to ensure you are capable of performing the role to British Standards.

If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.

Progression within the trade and company.

Having our own team of fitters and well established relationships with our suppliers, we guarantee all of our products and fitting

Working Hours :
5 days per week, Monday - Saturday, if you work a Saturday, you get a day off in the week. Working 07.30am - 4.30pm
