A prestigious luxury hotel in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead its all-day dining and specialty restaurant operations. This role is ideal for a creative, hands-on culinary leader ready to drive innovation and excellence in a high-profile setting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee kitchen operations and lead a team of sous chefs and culinary staffDevelop and execute seasonal, trend-forward menusManage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationsEnsure kitchen safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standardsCollaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

 

Qualifications:

5+ years as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in luxury hotels or fine diningCulinary degree or equivalent experienceStrong leadership and team development skillsExperience with scheduling, payroll, and cost controlsFlexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)Fluent in English; Spanish a plusPre-opening experience preferred
