We are now looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager to join the Executive Team.
Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for the overall HR function for approximately 100 members of staff.
You will deliver a comprehensive and professional service ensuring consistent implementation and application of good HR practices, procedures and ensure up to date employment law polices are followed combined with a regular review of the Staff Handbook.
You will support the Hotel’s Head of Departments with payroll, recruitment, training, Health & Safety and any necessary disciplinary advice.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with leadership experience with the drive and passion to develop staff and build interpersonal relationships throughout the hotel.
You will be the leader for staff wellbeing and motivation.
Your role will involve working with the Financial Controller to complete the monthly payroll through Sage, support the recruitment process including writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms, be responsible for new starter inductions, control the holiday booking and recording for all staff, develop HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes, provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for staff and managers.
You will also assist the hotel with Duty Manager shifts to cover early and late shifts when required.
Ideally, you will have worked in a similar environment in a privately owned business, with experience of being the sole HR professional within the hotel.
