2D Animator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2D Animator to join a game studio, offering excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of industry or related experience. As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for designing animations and effects that enhance gameplay and deliver an exceptional user experience. This full-time role offers competitive salary. You will be responsible for: ? Craft animations and visual effects using Spine 2D and Adobe After Effects to optimise user engagement. ? Collaborate with a team that includes a 2D Artist and a Programmer, alongside the Product Owner, to shape the games visual experience. ? Incorporate dynamic elements into static graphic assets, ensuring a lively and immersive gaming atmosphere. ? Utilise technical software confidently, particularly Adobe products (Photoshop, After Effects). ? Partner with the team and Product Owner to establish the visual style for each game. What we are looking for: ? Previously worked as a 2D Animator, 2D Artist, Game Animator or in a similar role. ? At least 3 years of industry or related experience. ? Familiarity with digital 2D animation techniques and visual effects. ? Background in particle-based effect editors (e.g., Red Giant Trapcode Particular or similar). ? Ability to design resource-efficient animations of high quality, optimised for mobile devices. ? Understanding of animation processes from concept to final refinement. ?
