Technical Architect - Lewisham Rate: Up to £800 per day Contract: Initial 3-month contract Location: Lewisham, London Service Care Solutions is assisting a local authority in their search for an experienced Technical Architect. This role involves leading the technology architecture function, managing both cloud and on-premise infrastructure, unified communications, networks, and cyber security, while ensuring alignment with the council's digital strategy. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of secure and scalable technology architecture.
Oversee infrastructure, end-user compute operations, and technology strategy.
Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., PSN, ISO27001).
Provide expert guidance on technical and digital services, ensuring value for money from suppliers.
Work closely with stakeholders and external partners to design and deliver fit-for-purpose digital solutions.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Architect in a complex IT environment.
Strong expertise in cyber security, infrastructure management, and digital transformation.
Familiarity with ITIL V3/4 frameworks and security standards.
Experience working within local government or similar public sector organisations is a plus.
