Senior FinOps Analyst – Fully Remote Role

They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior FinOps Analyst to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to step into a key role within a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment focused on optimising finance operations and ensuring seamless financial processes.

As the Senior FinOps Analyst, you will manage the financial operations related to payment processing and fund allocation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance financial workflows, resolve discrepancies, and provide valuable insights to the management team. This is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the processing of payments, particularly those related to client funds.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safeguarding client accounts and adhering to legal and financial standards.Reconcile client fund accounts regularly, maintaining accuracy and transparency.Collaborate with the finance team to monitor cash flows, allocate funds appropriately, and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial transactions to ensure high accuracy and security standards.Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks and payment service providers, to resolve issues related to payments and fund transfers.Prepare regular reports for senior management on payment processing performance, identifying key insights and areas for improvement.Identify and implement process improvements in payment workflows and financial operations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in finance operations or payments roles, ideally within a regulated environment such as fintech or financial services.Strong understanding of payment processes and compliance regulations.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on high accuracy.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.Experience with system transformation is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
