Role of the Laser supervisor/team lead
Supporting the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the laser cutting production schedule as well as maintaining quality standards and KPIs at all times.

Laser supervisor /Team Lead experience
Experience of working as a team supervisor within a contract manufacturing environment.
Good laser cutting process knowledge;
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities;
High attention to detail with a focus on consistent quality;
Good coordination and delegation skills;
Commitment to adopting our safe work practices and positive culture.
Good communication skills; both verbally and written.
Be a team player who is self-motivated and quality orientated.
Computer literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities of the Laser Supervisor /Team lead
In the role you will work closely with management to:
Lead, grow and manage a small team in an effective and positive manner, driving positive engagement & motivation within the division.
Support management to achieve production targets.
Utilise engineering drawings to ensure the work carried out is accurate.
Programming Amada fibre laser cutting machine to the best sheet utilisation.
Data control and backing up of CNC programs.
Maintain sheet metal stock level.
Ensure daily maintenance checks are completed on all machines used by team members.
Co-ordinate the workload within your team to ensure on time delivery for customer demands.
Use your initiative and problem-solving ability to resolve production challenges, including tight timescales and changing priorities.
Identify areas for improvements where appropriate and implement where approved.
Flexible in regards to working hours to meet the needs of the business.
