Apprentice Nursery Assistant

We have amazing pupils who are eager to learn and supportive families. This role is perfect for someone who wants to develop their experience working with young pupils in a nursery setting.

Duties will include: To support teaching and learning in our Nursery To support the class teacher in all aspects of day-to-day school life To help our youngest pupils to develop their skills and understanding To communicate with parents and carers about their children To ensure that all pupils are safeguarded effectively

Training:
Craven College Early Years Tutor will make regular visits to the workplace to meet with the Apprentice to set work to be completed and make observations of real work activities with the children The Apprentice will have 6 hours paid time per week for completion of assignments / activities and other forms of evidence for achievement of the Level 2 Apprenticeship

Training Outcome:
Our Nursery is a brand-new setting and numbers are growing. We hope that the role will lead to the successful applicant staying with us and progressing after Level 2 to achieve a Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship

St Peter’s VC Academy is a Roman Catholic primary school in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It is part of the St Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Academy Trust and the family of Catholic Schools across the Diocese of Middlesbrough. The school opened a Nursery / Pre-school earlier this year.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday Start- 8:00am Finish- 4:00pm
