Taylors Oxford are looking for a Maintenance Apprentice to work across their 7 shops in Oxford.

Duties of this role are outlined as follows and training will be provided:

Painting and decorating Basic plumbing Putting up fixtures and fittings Water blasting and general building maintenance Basic electrics, changing light fittings, blubs, sockets etc Maintaining and repairing equipment Maintaining an asset register of plant and equipment Liaising with 3rd parties on repair costs, annual contracts and project management Coordinating CCTV repairs and maintenance across the company Liaising with our IT support company on basic troubleshooting Able to work at heights of up to 3m (working height)

Training:

The qualifications you will be working towards while on your Apprenticeship are:

NVQ level 2 in Property Maintenance, this will be achieved through assessments completed while you are completing work. Attend ACE Training on Mondays to work towards the Diploma level 2 in Maintenance Operations which will enable you to achieve the End Point Assessment required to complete your Apprenticeship. Each week you will learn and complete tasks to develop the skills you need on site and to sucessfully pass your EPA. Functional Skills in maths and English, if required. Working Hours :
5 days, this includes 1 day a week in college. Monday - ACE Training 8.30 to 4.30 Tuesday - Friday, 9.00 to 5.30. Flexibility required for working hours as some work needs to be completed out of hours weekends.
