During this 5-year Degree (Level 6) apprenticeship programme, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide and exciting range of activities, from detailed requirements and performance analysis, generation of test procedures and reviewing of evidence. To writing technical specifications and contributing to the ongoing development and qualification of vital submarine structures, systems and equipment.
You will be enrolled in the Aerospace Engineer apprenticeship programme; your first year will spent gaining the essential foundation academic knowledge required for your role. You will then continue your academic journey, and gain exposure to different areas of Integrated Combat Systems by undertaking a variety of placements, where you will undertake a range of engineering activities to become proficient in your role. During these placements, you will work with integrated teams and start building a professional network of contacts.
