Apprentice Equine Groom (Manston Riding Centre)

Duties will include but not limited to:

Care of horses and equipment Mucking out Feeding Grooming Tacking up Assisting with lessons Mounting and dismounting Leading Supporting riders to achieve their goals Riding different types and levels of horses to maintain and improve training Care and preparation of competition horses Assisting with professionals such as vets, farriers and physiotherapists Grooming at shows for the right candidate

Training:
Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment. The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship. The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and onsite visits throughout the apprenticeship.  The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:
The possibility of continued employment once finished for the right candidate.
 

Employer Description:
A busy riding school open 7 days a week providing lessons for all from 4 years upwards. We provide lessons for all levels from beginner to advanced. We are looking to take on another apprentice to become a valued member of our dedicated team.
