Apprentice Welder/Fabricator
Full training will be given duties will include
Tig Welding and fabricating. (predominantly aluminium) Mig welding Drilling Using the saw Reading drawings and measuring accurately Efficient and conscientious worker Using hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, TIG & MIG welders Work from drawings, sketches or descriptions as appropriate Cutting stock to given dimensions Drill, de-burr and prepare steel Ensure that all work is being carried out in a safe and efficient manner Maintain good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment Ensure that you use all of the appropriate safety equipment including gloves, goggles, welding screen, safety shoes and dust masks Maintenance of aluminium platformsTraining:
1 day release to college.
Training Outcome:
To become fully qualified and the possibility of a full-time post.

Working Hours :
Monday – Thursday 8am-16:45pm. Friday – 8am – 13:30pm. 10:00 – 10:15am break – 12:30 – 13:00pm lunch. (no 12:30 lunch break on a Friday).
