Teaching Assistant Apprentice

To assist with developing an understanding of the learning needs of students and the use of this knowledge to support them to become independent learners in the classroom To take into account students’ learning needs and ensure their access to the lesson and its content through appropriate clarification, explanations and use of equipment and materials To reinforce specific targets to address individual learning needs within the classroom setting Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students

Training:

To train for Level 3 Teaching Assistant standard and work with the Priory Apprenticeships to support coursework assignments and observations, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) 
End-Point Assessment (EPA) 
Teaching Assistant workshops located in Lincoln, typically held once a month. 

Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will be qualified as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant and will be able to apply for roles requiring this qualification

Working Hours :
The Academy day is between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. A flexible approach to working is expected as some tasks may be required to be carried out in the evenings and during holiday periods.
