Data Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
On a day-to-day basis, your primary role will be to calculate the carbon footprint of our client businesses, which involves:
Checking, interpreting and translating data to make it usable Entering data into our carbon calculator software whilst making appropriate assumptions and estimates Validating calculations; performing additional analysis to provide further insights Preparing analysis and reports Communicating effectively with clients and client-facing members of the teamSkills and experience
Excellent computer skills with a good understanding of the use of spreadsheets. Attention to detail and ability to handle datasets quickly and accurately. An interest in developing skills in data handling and analysis. An interest in developing skills in carbon footprint calculation for businesses. Data Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The successful candidate will undertake a fifteen-month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.
You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification. You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body. This is a level 3 qualification.
