Apprentice Electronics Technician
Upon completion of apprenticeship, successful candidates will be proficient in:
Electronics theory Electronic components – Identification, construction, usage, test, etc. Electronic equipment construction – Solid State, Post Through Hole, Surface Mounted Devices, etc. Circuit design – able to read diagrams, reverse engineer, etc. Test equipment – Multimeters, function generator, PSUs, oscilloscope, etc. Drive systems – DC drives, Inverters, Servo amps, etc. Controllers – temperature, PLCs, I/O modules, etc. Power supplies – Linear, switch mode, etc. Displays – HMIs, monitors, touch screens, etc.Training Outcome:
Progression on to level 3
Once qualified you will be ‘on call’ to attend out of hours customer response at site or at our premises

Hours of work are 8am - 4.30pm Mon- Fri, with overtime available during busy periods
